My bucket list

I’ve seen a few people do this and you know what? I quite like. It both fits with my need to write lists and also provides some inspiration and motivation to actually DO something. It was harder than I expected to come up with lots of things and I may have cheated slightly by putting a few things that I’ve already done (gets the list going I say). But here it is, my bucket list, what do you think? If you’ve done one then please share, I think it gives quite an interesting insight into someone to see what they dream of doing.

  1. Great lis! I’ve flown over the Grand Canyon in a Helicopter and it was fantastic! I’ve also poached one of your things – take the trans-siberian train from Russia to China – great idea!

    • We almost went travelling rather than buying a house and this was top of our list of things to do, you can do it as a 7 day non stop trip if you want, would be amazing scenery

  2. Great list, lots of interesting things to achieve on there. Think I might add ‘pay off a mortgage’ to my bucket list 🙂

  3. Great List, I especially love the celebrating wedding anniversaries & Having grandchildren one – makes you realise what is important in life. I would love to drive route 66 too!!, Thanks for joining in my 2012 Bucket List Blog Hop

  4. Great list. The family element in it is really quite lovely. And a great idea too. Mind if I shamelessly steal it for my blog?

  5. I’ve only done 24 & 37 and will be doing 27 in August.

    35 is something I’ve wanted to do forever….and 50, well, one day….

I surmise from your list that you’re the outdoorsy type 😉

I have been thinking of changing my 40 small ways to change my world on my blog to a bucket list, as I don’t seem to be changing much….

  6. 25 and 32 are both very enjoyable 🙂

Nice to see that you’ve crossed off another one – I’d love to learn how to use a DSLR! Mind you, I think probably the first step is to own one…

You’ve got a few things on this list that I’d love to do too. Although I’ve decided that I really and truly don’t want to run a marathon 🙂

  8. Victoria bay on the Southern Coast of South Africa have one of the most consistent waves in the world, go there for a week and you are bound to have a couple of day’s worth of memories to clear that one from your bucket list, and then you are also in range for your African Safari
