Mutterings of a Fool

The gallery – mother nature

The gallery is back from its winter break and Tara has chosen a prompt that can’t possibly involve people posting strange pictures of their body parts (although I have seen one tummy already!). Perhaps I should interpret this prompt as ‘Feet – mother natures perfect design’? I’m sure Tara would love seeing more feet pictures.

Anyway I digress; taking pictures of nature, particularly landscapes is something I really enjoy. I think sometimes we forget how beautiful our little island is, the British countryside really is fabulous and best of given our rights of way laws we can often wonder all over it. The lady of the manor and I recently had a weeks holiday in Scotland, I have some family up there and we used to have family holidays almost every year there. But I havent been for 13 years since I was 16, so it was a great change to revisit some childhood memories.

This photo comes from a loch near where we were staying, I just love how the water reflects the hills. You’d never know that it rained for 3 days solid before this photo was taken….
